Boxing in Limassol: pad work with a coach, no sparring

Looking for Fitness Classes in Limassol?

NEO runs group fitness classes in Limassol, Cyprus, from a boutique studio at Spyrou Kyprianou 48, opening in November 2026. The menu is short and clear: five classes built on boxing and functional training, each 50 minutes long, each capped at 8 people.

You work with bodyweight, dumbbells, kettlebells, battle ropes, the heavy bag and pads. No sparring, no partner contact. Every class is open to all levels, so you choose by goal, not by whether you are "fit enough" yet.

Your first membership is 20% off if you pre-register before the opening.

Group fitness classes in Limassol: five formats

All five share one frame: ease in, work hard, ease out. The middle is where they part ways.

BoxFit — learn boxing, get fit
Intensity: high · Who it's for: first-timers and anyone who wants a complete workout
You learn how to stand and throw your first punches, link them into short combinations, then move into a full-body circuit where boxing rounds trade places with bodyweight strength work. NEO points first-timers here.

Box & Tone — box, sculpt, strengthen
Intensity: high · Who it's for: early risers who want toned arms, legs, glutes and core
Boxing-based cardio with dumbbell work. You punch the air rather than a bag for much of the class, which keeps it friendly for beginners.

Boxing Cardio — punch, sweat, burn
Intensity: high · Who it's for: people who want their heart rate up and kept there
Faster combinations, then interval rounds of 40 seconds on, 20 off.

Boxing Mobility — move like a boxer, stretch like a yogi
Intensity: moderate · Who it's for: recovery days, stiff backs and hips, anyone easing back into training
A gentle boxing flow gets you warm, then the class opens up your back, shoulders and hips, followed by 13 minutes of deep stretch. Breathwork closes the class.

Functional Boxing — train like an athlete
Intensity: high · Who it's for: people who have outgrown BoxFit
Up to 55 minutes. Stations instead of a single flow.

Functional training in Limassol

Functional training means multi-joint movements that load the body the way real life does: squat, lunge, push, pull, rotate, all with the core holding things together.

At NEO, it runs through every class and takes the lead in Functional Boxing. You rotate through stations:

  • heavy bag and pads for power and timing;
  • shadow boxing for speed and footwork;
  • dumbbells and kettlebells for strength;
  • battle ropes for conditioning;
  • core work for stability.

The result is a session that trains strength, endurance, coordination and the core at once. Because it moves between boxing and loaded work, it never settles into one rhythm — which is the point.

BoxFit and fitness boxing

If you are looking for BoxFit in Limassol, you probably want the energy of boxing without getting hit. That is how every boxing class at NEO works. You punch the air and the bag, not a partner. There are no rings, no sparring and no gloves needed for your first visit.

Start with BoxFit. Its full 50-minute structure is on the BoxFit class page. If you are after classic boxing technique, NEO teaches that too — see boxing at NEO.

Not sure? Book BoxFit first. After a few sessions, you will know whether you want more pace (Boxing Cardio), more load (Functional Boxing) or a lighter day in the week (Boxing Mobility).

A practical week might pair two high-intensity classes with one Boxing Mobility session.

A boutique studio with reformer pilates next door

NEO is a small studio, not a gym floor. Classes run on a timetable, groups stay at 8 or fewer, and the coach can watch everyone's form in real time.

Reformer pilates shares the address. If your week is full of intervals and heavy bags, a reformer session adds controlled strength, posture work and range of movement. You can do both in the same week without crossing town. See reformer pilates in Limassol.
